Essentia Health Supports Youth Mental & Social Well-Being

Essentia made a $15,000 contribution to Mentor North to support their two community based mentoring programs, Mentor Duluth and Mentor Superior, which matches youth ages 7-17 with adult volunteers.

Mentoring helps youth counter adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in addition to supporting youth with skills training, opportunities for physical activity, improved emotional health, and identity development.

This contribution responds directly to the Duluth and Superior’s Community Health Needs Assessment’s mental & social well-being priority area.

Two of our amazing colleagues, Amy Davis (L) & Megan (Wines) Brossart (R), currently volunteer as mentors through Mentor North!
