Class Descriptions
BOOT CAMP - Improve your strength, flexibility, and aerobic fitness level in one workout. This rugged workout of sports drills, weights, circuits, and interval training will challenge you to be the best you can be! ALL LEVELS
BARRE BLEND - This class blends elements of Pilates, yoga, ballet, and functional strength into a workout that improves core strength, balance, body awareness, and control as you tone your entire body …. from the inside out! ALL LEVELS
MALLWALK CIRCUIT COMBO - Out of the exercise room and into the Mall. Come walk with us Friday mornings! Walk 7 minutes; stop for a 5-minute core component and continue the routine (walking/workout) around the Mall for an hour. Fun, energetic pace to keep you moving, building cardio levels and movements for increasing agility and strength. No stopping to shop, until you're done! No experience necessary. ALL LEVELS
GROUP STRENGTH - Utilizes free weights and other equipment to improve muscle tone, balance, and functional movement, as well as increase strength and endurance. Accompanied by fun and energizing music! Not a body-building class. ALL LEVELS
H.I.I.T. - High Intensity Interval Training. This class alternates intense cardio intervals with strength training for upper body, lower body, and core. ALL LEVELS
L.I.I.T. - Low Impact Interval Training. This class alternates intense cardio intervals with strength training for upper body, lower body, and core with a low impact emphasis. ALL LEVELS
FIND YOUR BALANCE - Strength, stability, and balance are the 3 most critical and functional components for preventing falls and increasing ability to stay flexible and strong. The 15 best exercises for seniors to improve strength and balance are incorporated into this class. ALL LEVELs
QiGong - Perform gentle, slow-flowing movements with mindful breathing to increase the flow of qi (energy) in our bodies. This ancient Chinese mind-body class may help reduce stress and ease depression. A mat is not required but may be useful. ALL LEVELS
PILATES PLUS - In addition to Pilates mat exercises, this class utilizes exercises designed to improve balance, strength, and functional fitness. Works deep muscles achieving more graceful movement. ALL LEVELS
STRENGTH PLUS - Improve your endurance and build muscle using a variety of equipment and cardio conditioning options. ALL LEVELS
STRETCH AND BALANCE - Improve your mobility, range of motion, and confidence. Stretching techniques and core strengthening exercises are used to promote flexibility and improve balance. This class puts the FUN in functional. ALL LEVELS
SURF and TURF - Alternating water and land-strength training and cardio in the water and low impact full body strength training and balance on land. ALL LEVELS
SILVER SNEAKERS CARDIO FIT - Combine cardio with equally intense toning movements and you get Cardio Fit for Seniors. Be prepared to sweat! ALL LEVELS
SILVER SNEAKERS MUSCULAR STRENGTH - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Taught by certified Silver Sneakers instructors. ALL LEVELS
SILVER SNEAKERS SENIOR CIRCUIT - Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubes and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact lower body aerobic choreography/paced walking using a circuit-interval format. ALL LEVELS.
TRX - Total Body Resistance EXercise Develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously by utilizing a suspension trainer to leverage gravity and your body weight. ALL LEVELS
VINYASA FLOW - Increase your strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness in this dynamic yoga class. ALL LEVELS
ZUMBA - This exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class utilizes dance and fitness moves providing a cardio workout that tones and sculpts the entire body. Move, sweat, smile, and get fit in this fun class. You don’t need to know how to dance! ALL LEVELS
SPIN/CORE FUSION - Combines a cardio cycling workout and strength training. It consists of 30 minutes of high intensity cycling followed by off the bike strength training. Participants do have the option of staying on the bike for more cardio and can join us for the 5 minute cool down. ALL LEVELS
