Jamie Lauwagie, MD, chose to specialize in family medicine because it offers the unique opportunity to care for people at all stages of life, from newborns to older adults. Growing up in a rural community, he saw the value of having a trusted, local doctor who understands your background, lifestyle, and challenges. This experience inspired him to provide the same kind of care, rooted in relationships, continuity, and a commitment to helping people thrive in the communities they love.

Within their practice, Dr. Lauwagie has a strong interest in pediatric care, especially working with newborns and their families during those important early stages of life. He also enjoys musculoskeletal medicine and offers joint injections to help manage pain and improve mobility. Dermatology is another area he is passionate about, whether it’s performing skin biopsies, helping patients manage acne, or exploring anti-aging treatments. He believes in working side-by-side with patients through shared decision-making to find the best path forward together.
