Amity Heinbuch, CNM, MSN, is a certified nurse midwife who has been providing compassionate, personalized care since 2014. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY.
Before becoming a nurse-midwife, Amity worked as a labor and delivery nurse and was actively involved in patient education, teaching CPR, prenatal classes, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program courses. This foundation in education and hands-on care continues to inform her practice today.
Amity is passionate about supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, and all stages of reproductive health. She values shared decision-making and strives to create a respectful, welcoming environment for every patient. Amity’s areas of interest include women’s health across the lifespan and empowering patients through education. She has a deep commitment to supporting physiological birth and believes in the strength and wisdom of the birthing body. Amity works to create space for labor to unfold naturally whenever possible, offering evidence-based guidance and hands-on support to promote comfort, autonomy, and confidence during the birthing process.
Outside of work, Amity enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, golfing, curling, and quilting.
